Maruti Sales In August 2018 but Hyundai, Mahindra, Ford show Small Growth.

Quick look on the Car Sales August 2018 :- 

Maruti Suzuki :- 

  1. The country's largest car saler, Maruti Suzuki India  total sales have gone down by 3.6 per cent compared the same period last year.  
  1.  Total of 158,189 units were sold in the August 2018.
  1. 147,700 nos. domestic market and 10,480 units of exports.
  1.  MSIL sold a total of 163,601 units in August 2017. 
  1. The passenger vehicle segment decrease by 1.4 per cent as the company sold 114,361 units in the month of August 2018 as compared to 115,797 nos. sold in the same period last year.
  1. Utility vehicles S-Cross, Vitara Brezza, Ertiga and Gypsy also sdecrease by 16.2 per cent as the company sold 17,871 units in August 2018, compared to 21,342 units sold in the same period in August 2017. 
  1.  The compact segment  likes of Swift, Celerio, Ignis, Baleno and the Dzire,show a decrease in sales by 3.6 per cent as the company sold 71,464 units as compared to 74,212 nos. in the same period last month.
  1. The Hyundai sales growth of 3.4 per cent in the month of August 2018.
  1. Hyundai sold 61,915 units compared to 59,910 units sold in the same period last year. 
  1. Domestic sales 45,810 units, a decrease of 2.8 per cent as compared to 47,110 units sold in the same period last fiscal. 
  1. The exports have a massive increase of 25.8 per cent and 16,121 units in August 2018 from 12,812 units in August 2017.
  1. Mahindra booked a 14 per cent growth in volumes. Overall sales 48,424 units last month, as compared to 42,301 units sold during August 2017.
  1.  Mahindra's domestic sales stood at 45,323 units last month, which increased by 15 per cent.
  1.  The passenger cars segment have 19,718 vehicles sold last month,and  19,456 units sold during the same month last year.
  1. Utility vehicles sales dropped by 2 per cent with 17,792 units sold last month, as against 18,155 units sold in August 2017.
  1.  Car and van sales have healthy increase in volumes of 65 per cent with 1900 vehicles sold in August 2018.

Ford India
1.  Ford domestic sales increase to 8,142 vehicles as against 7,877 units in the same month last year, an increase of 3.41 per cent.
2.   The combined domestic sales and exports in August have a growth of 23.8 per cent with 20,748 vehicles compared to 15,840 vehicles in August 2017.
3.   The exports increase to 12,706 vehicles compared to 7,903 units in August 2017, an increase of 36.93 per cent.
1.  Toyota sold a total of 14,200 units in the domestic market in August 2018.
2.  The company exported 470 units and a total sale of 14,670 units in August 2018.
3.  The sales increase by 17 per cent year on year.
