20 lakhs Swift sale record India with 36 % Growth.


The new Swift achieved the fastest one lakh sales in less than ten weeks after that new record of 2 Million sale in 13 years after launch.  

Maruti Suzuki India achieved a new milestone of its iconic brand Swift registered a sale of two million after first launch in India in May 2005. In 13 years Maruti Suzuki sale total 2 million Swift in India. India customer preferred  Swift because of its dynamic features, global styling, sporty, solid and bold stance and power-packed performance.


The new Swift achieved the fastest one lakh sales in less than ten weeks after that new record of 2 Million sale in 13 years after launch. The new Swift achieved the fastest one lakh sales in less than ten weeks.  To fulfill customer requirement and to reduce the waiting time Maruti Suzuki increased production Swift by 45% to 1.39 lakh units during April-Oct 2018-19 against previous year. Records a sales growth of 36% with dominant market share of 29% in April-Oct 2018-19

Fastest rollout Commercial Showroom: Maruti Suzuki open its 250th Commercial Showroom in last two Year.


Maruti Suzuki India announced on 2nd November that they have the launch of its 250th Commercial Showroom in Dehradun. 



Maruti Suzuki started sale of commercial segment in September 2016. Now Maruti have 250 commercial showrooms in 193 cities. This is the company’s fastest growing Commercial automobile retail chain in India.

Maruti Suzuki started the Light Commercial Vehicle segment with Super Carry in India Super Carry came in both diesel engine and with CNG variant. MSIL offers the customer a powerful 2-cylinder turbo-charged 793 cc diesel engine and an all-new 1200 cc CNG engine variant.

It is also shared by Maruti Suzuki that they have crossed 20000 nos. sale of their commercial vehicle super carry in just 24 months after its launch, first it takes 18 months to sale 10,000 nos. but next 10000 came in 6months. So this show how Maruti Suzuki launched super carry demand increasing. With such fast growing It has proved to be a product that matches the customer’s desire for success in India.

According to Mr. R S Kalsi, Senior Executive Director (Marketing & Sales), Maruti Suzuki India Limited said, “Within the LCV segment, the mini truck segment comprises close to a third of the sales. It has been growing at a CAGR of 21% during the last four years. Super Carry has been developed specifically for India, keeping in mind the unique requirements of the Indian mini truck customer. 

In last month October Maruti Suzuki sale total 2152 nos. of super carry with growth of 146 % as compare to 872 nos. same month last year in 2017. Total sale of Super Carry in FY 18-19 is 12519 nos. as compare to same time last FY17-18 only 4229 nos. Its mean total growth of 197.7 % year on Year Growth.

In coming years, we will see the boom in the super Carry from Maruti Suzuki.

Dussehra festivity not help to boost car sales in the month of October 2018.


This festival season all car maker not show too much growth as compare to last year same month.

This Diwali Many OEMs fails to show the growth because sale growth is flat in the month of October 2018. 



Maruti Suzuki

In October month Maruti Suzuki gain only growth of 0.2 per cent, and Japanese maker Toyota's sales down by 5 per cent.

MSIL sale of October was total of 146,766 nos. in October 2018, with 138,100 nos. in domestic market and 8,666 nos. of exports.
sale is down by 0.2 % as compared to last year same month. The new generation Swift and Dzire show some good sales with growth by 3.5 per cent as compared to last month. There is very high drop of 5 percent in Ciaz.

Toyota India

The company's total sales for the month accounted for units.
Toyota hit drop of 5 per cent with total 13,240 as compare to 14000 in last year 2017 same month.  the domestic sales 12,603 and exported only 637 units in the month of October 2018.

Ford India

Ford India also show growth in positive 30 % with a total sale of 21,340 units, compared to the 15,000 vehicles sold in October 2017,the company domestic sales were 9,044 nos. in October 2018 and 4,218 in October 2017.Export also having growth of more than 10 % with 12300 nos. In Oct-2018 and 10800 in month of Oct-17.

Hyundai India

Hyundai has sold newly launched Santro 8500 units in last week of October 2018 after launch on October 23.
Total sale in oct-108 was 65,020 with Domestic sales was 52,000 number and 13,020 number of export in Oct-18.
Total grew domestic sale by 3.5 percent and export by 5 as compared to last year sale.

Tata Motor

Tata motor also show a growth of 11 percent with total same 18290 in 2018 and 16475 same month last year in 2017.

Mahindra and Mahindra

M&M show a hike of 5 percent with total sale in October 2018 month is 22563 as compared to last same month last year 21525 nos.
